Dr. Joseph Mercola just posted a great article on the impact of sleep deprivation on metabolic health, that's worth a read for just about everyone - click here to access.
The long and the short of it is this: Anything that interferes with your sleep will interfere with your health and can contribute to, worsen, or even cause hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and obesity.
And you know what I'm going to say here: Inability to achieve great quality sleep can be a secondary condition resulting from subluxation. When your have neurospinal dysfunction, your spine is irritated and you cannot relax.
In sum, making sure your spine's structure and function are optimized is essential for your health and well being, in more ways than one. I hope that if you're not already under regular chiropractic care to correct, maintain, and protect your spine, you'll keep Path of Life in mind for when you're ready.
